10:24 am - MP3 Action
MP3 action (again, at last!):

  • Bloc Party: The Answer (right-click or control-click to download): The Bloc Party is the best new British band since British Sea Power, which is probably a meaningful comparison to like, four people reading my blog (that would be me, [info]muskrat_john, [info]zoe_trope and some random British dude reading this because they Googled "bloc party"). Just download this and rock out, Chester. From their debut EP, which I don't think has been released in the US yet.
  • Xiu Xiu: Clowne Towne (right-click or control-click to download): I don't even know how to explain Xiu Xiu; believe it or not, this is by far the most pop-like and accessible song on their (his?) new album, Fabulous Muscles. On the ever-wonderful Kill Rock Stars label.
  • As always, these will disappear in a few days, so grab 'em while you can.

MP3: British Sea Power: Remember Me.

From Scott Bateman's Sketchbook of Secrets & Shame:

From the LJ Randomizer:

This Onion article is a Korgis cover; it's pretty solidly already--alphabetically, they used photos from the whole damn political cartoon: Yesterday's cartoon update: Say, apparently there are still trying to help haul as we can 12 on all the whole album's a real publisher to our cable and some kind neighbor's WiFi signal right now--don't tell anyone). Thursday, I have no idea what happens over tracks from the new thing? The Stuff movie). From Scott Bateman: is the book see what happens over to send me to say, the book! I don't know.

Try it with yer LJ, and leave it as a comment here.
